These terms govern your use of the AbsMaxx iOS application, App Clip, Apple Watch companion, home screen widget, and website at absmaxx.app (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
AbsMaxx provides fitness tools including AI visual estimates of abdominal zones, training plans, workout logging, nutrition tracking, and related features. The Service is for personal, non-commercial use unless we agree otherwise in writing.
2. Not medical advice
AbsMaxx does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Zone scores, calorie targets, exercise suggestions, and preview images are generated for fitness motivation and general wellness only. They are AI visual estimates — not clinical assessments. Always consult a qualified health professional before starting a new exercise or nutrition programme, especially if you have a medical condition, injury, or are pregnant.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws in your country.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Certain features require a paid subscription (“AbsMaxx Pro”). Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Pricing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are subject to Apple's terms. Subscription management is available in your Apple ID settings. We use RevenueCat to verify entitlements; we do not store your payment details.
Promotional or win-back offers may be time-limited. Displayed savings are calculated from current App Store prices at the time of offer.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse our APIs
- Upload content you do not have the right to share
- Circumvent subscription or rate limits
- Use the Service to harass, harm, or impersonate others
6. Your content and photos
You retain ownership of photos and data you create in the app. By submitting a photo for AI analysis, you grant us a limited licence to process that photo solely to provide the requested feature, in line with our Privacy policy. Photos are not stored on our servers after processing.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the app for personal fitness purposes. Open Food Facts data used in food lookup is subject to the Open Database Licence (ODbL); attribution is provided in the app.
8. App Clip
The App Clip at /try offers a limited demo workout. It does not include full app features such as AI scanning or nutrition tracking. Availability depends on your device, iOS version, and App Store region.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or accuracy of AI outputs. We do not guarantee specific physical results from following any plan or preview image.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) £50.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is not permitted.
11. Changes to the Service and terms
We may modify or discontinue features at any time. We may update these terms; continued use after the updated date constitutes acceptance. Material changes may be notified in the app.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country give you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
